This page contains my personal forecasts, on major earthquakes that could take place within the next months.

The forecasts are given 'as this', with of course absolutely no guaranty of any kind. My method gave some good results since one year, but I hope that the forecasts will not happen.

The method used is a filter on the gravitational effects of the solar system on the Earth. My theory is that major earthquakes happen, when tide forces are applied on earth under certain strength and angles configurations that causes underground weaknesses to break.

The filter does not explain anything, but just show that something could happen again, if the configuration or a similar one comes again.

The filter is an artificial neural network, fed with the dates of the major earthquakes related by the media I can catch here in France. I use the media as a threshold filter, that gives me only events that caused terror or destruction.

No sensor is used, no survey is made on others web sites. The forecasts are the direct result of the neural network, nobody modifies or adjusts them.

The only purpose of this page, is to try to find out if a forecast is possible or not for earthquakes, using an artificial neural network.

This is a model I built, which has no connexion with official earthquakes science. I'm neither a geologist, nor a specialist of earthquakes : I even ignore the basics of that science. I built this model following my own logic, with my own knowledge about physics, and computer programming. If the model shows a risk for a date, it does not mean that an earthquake will take place. If the model shows no risk for a date, it does not mean that there is no risk for that date. This model is intended for curiosity of the reader, and is not intended to be an alert system. If you are concerned about earthquakes, please refer to your usual official authorities, and don't plan your life depending on my forecasts.

This said, you can now access the forecasts maps !

They are updated after each major earthquake event. A synthesis is then reported in the earthquakes section of the forum.

How to read and understand the map :

The map is not a geographic map, but a calendar of the next 365 days mapped by risk similarities.

The red cells denote a high level of risk for the date inside.

The green cells denote no risk for the date inside.

The more the dates are near from the red cells, the higher is the risk.

The more the dates are far from the red cells, the lower is the risk.

Don't try to find information about location : as done yet, the earth is considered as a unique place where earthquakes take place.

Here is a way to use a map :

- go to the last updated map (links below)

- type Ctrl-F (open search dialog box of your browser)

- type a date DD/MM/AAAA (within the next 365 days), for example 15/04/2006 is april 15, 2006 and submit

- look at the color of your date : if it is red, or green and close to a red one, the date looks like one that already produced a major earthquake in the recent past. if it is green and far from red ones, no similarity has been found.

I know that the maps are not easily readable, enhancements may be discussed in the forum if you wish.
